Mysterious Pines

© Jenny Enochsson 2017

I will hopefully post a poem next time. The last seven years I have written fiction in Swedish and no poetry. At the moment, I am writing a novel. I am a bit uptight about creating poems again, but I also enjoy the freedom of free verse a lot. In a way, my poems are mini stories.

Good to see you are writing poetry! I really love your poetry, as you know. They are the stuff of true fantasy from a beautiful place and should be read aloud with a bottle of wine here in my apartment in Copenhagen. So come on, write some free verse and post pronto!

Jenny, I have also been uptight about writing poetry. I feel like I understand what you mean by that.

I dig the mysterious pines.

Lise, thanks a lot! Haha, I feel honoured that you drink wine and read my poetry aloud. I hardly drink myself, which you may find a bit disappointing. :)

Megan, thank you very much. I guess I should just try to relax, write the poem and see what happens. It would be nice to be able to turn off the self-criticism. :)

Beautiful image. And I know these pines originate from an equally cool, mysterious place. :)

Ande, thank you! Yes, that place is our sanctuary alright.
